In 2007 I started pushing various bits of information onto the web. For more than a decade I used the free Dokuwiki program to organize pages and, over time, I’ve created hundreds of documents. These days, Markdown has become the de facto standard for text content. It’s also the format I keep returning to for easy writing. Over time I’ve learned that simple static content works better for the long term storage and portability of my writing.
