Custom Window Size and Position in Rectangle Pro for Mac

I use the Rectangle app to organize windows on my Mac. Most of the time, the default sizes and positions work great. There’s one case where I need a custom position and size - I like to record 1080p video screen captures.

Here’s how you make a custom window size and position in Rectangle Pro. Note that this option doesn’t exist in the free version of Rectangle–it’s a pro feature.

• Select the Rectangle icon in the Menu Bar, then select Settings
• Select Custom Size and Position on the left
• Click the plus button then New Shortcut
• Specify the Name, Position, Dimensions and other parameters
• Click Record Shortcut to assign a keyboard shortcut
• Click Done and close the window

Now press your keyboard combination to resize the current window.
