I use the Rectangle app to organize windows on my Mac. Most of the time, the default sizes and positions work great. There’s one case where I need a custom position and size - I like to record 1080p video screen captures.
Here’s how you make a custom window size and position in Rectangle Pro. Note that this option doesn’t exist in the free version of Rectangle–it’s a pro feature.
Now press your keyboard combination to resize the current window.
