I’m a veteran software engineer who prefers minimal, privacy-respecting, “evergreen” sites you can build quickly and run without constant upkeep. I share “how I” style notes on building reliable websites, small tools, and micro-brands. I created Neat CSS, a tiny stylesheet for shipping pages without build steps. I tinker with Go (command-line utilities, small services) and build tiny e-commerce projects. On the creative side, I keep a written Daybook and sometimes make pen, ink, and watercolor drawings.
I’ve been publishing on the web since 2007. Most of what I write is plain Markdown in simple static pages. Fast to load, portable, and easy to keep online for years.
If you like simple, durable web projects, and seeing exactly how they’re built, you’ll feel at home here.
Everything here is written by a human. I use AI only to edit for spelling, grammar, and clarity. I don’t want to read more “AI slop” and I assume you don’t either.
