Setting up a Domain

I’m a Scanner and I setup new small businesses frequently. This is how I setup a domain these days.

Register the domain name at namecheap
- Point @ to example.github.io
- Point www to @
- Add domain to mailwip
- Setup two custom MX records
- Setup SFP record
Setup a GitHub Pages site
- Create a repository
- Create the site
- Push the git project to GitHub
- Enable GitHub pages
It takes about 5 minutes for the mx records to update and for MailWip to validate them.
