Setting up a Domain

I’m a Scanner and I setup new small businesses frequently. This is how I setup a domain these days.

• Register the domain name at namecheap
  • Point @ to example.github.io
  • Point www to @
  • Add domain to mailwip
  • Setup two custom MX records
  • Setup SFP record
• Setup a GitHub Pages site
  • Create a repository
  • Create the site
  • Push the git project to GitHub
  • Enable GitHub pages

  It takes about 5 minutes for the mx records to update and for MailWip to validate them.
