Swap Paste and Match Style on Mac

In most cases I find myself wanting to copy and paste text without any formatting. On MacOS the default behavior is to paste the text with it’s style. Under MacOS Sanoma you can also use the Command+Option+Shift+V key combination to Paste and Match Style but I find that four key combination difficult to type.

Note: This didn’t always work for me. Instead of doing this I’ve now changed the Paste and Match Style shortcut to Cmd+V.

You can swap these by adding two new key combinations.

Step 1 - Open Settings

Step 2 - Add Paste

Step 3 - Add Paste and Match Style
