Website Writing Process

Write a draft in Ponder. Ponder makes writing stupid simple. You simply open a tab and start writing. Ponder is a simple scratch pad in the browser. It’s quick and I don’t have to think about it.

Have the finished draft read out loud. On the Mac you can highlight text and then press Option+Esc to have that text read to you out loud. Do this to hear mistakes in your writing that you might not have noticed while proofreading.

Create a file in Github. I use the simple Github interface to create a new file in my repo. Again, I don’t have to leave the browser. I just pop over the the code and add a new file.

Link to the file in the index. Finally, now that I have the document written, I create a simple link to it in the index.
