I created this wishlist after reading a bit about Barbara Sher’s work and specifically about Success Teams in her small booklet How To Get What You Really Want.

Create my own small business

I want to create and run a small business that:

Takes 10 hours or less of my time per week
Makes an income of $500 per week within 3 months
Is software, 3D design, writing, or training

Obstacals

Not sure what business will work
Not sure how to market it
Not sure if I can stick to it long enough

Status

I’ve designed a tool called the Tumbler Trick. I 3D printed some small parts that can be glued onto a standard level to convert it into a level for laser engraving steel tumblers. I’m selling them for $30 each and I’m selling one or two a month. I’d like to design and sell other 3D printed parts because I enjoy the design and the home manufacturing process.

Sail a boat

I want to take a short, several day, trip on a small sailboat.

Obstacals

I’ve never even been on a sailboat
I do not know how to sail
My wife does not share this dream
She might not want me to go without her
I don’t own a sailboat
I don’t live on the coast
This could be expensive
